2/13/21

Physical: 6-foot-4, 210LBS. Lean, athletic build. 6.91 60-yard dash. PENN Commit.

Offensively: Maintains balance well throughout the swing. Begins slightly open with weight evenly distributed. Leg stride works straight towards the pitcher. Weight gets back to get forward. Somewhat handsy swing and some feel for the barrel. Consistently hit ball hard throughout the round. 82% on plane per Blast Motion. Clocked a MAX 99MPH exit velocity.

Defensively: Primary OF. 89MPH throwing velocity. Read hops well with plus ability to work through the baseball. Uses momentum back towards his target. Athletic and fluid actions all around.

2/23/20

Pennsylvania commit. 6-foot-3, 200-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a knee-to-knee stride. Gets on plane early and hands work well through contact with a gap-to-gap approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 94 mph and ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Showed capable defensive actions in the outfield with straight line carry on throws of 86 mph.

6/18/19

6-foot-3, 195-pound left-handed hitter stood out at the Preseason All-State Showcase largely because of his hit tool. The recent Pennsylvnania commit once again impressed turning in an event best 95 mph bat exit velocity. He starts from a slightly open stance and gets to the hitting zone on plane, staying in the zone for an extended period of time. Creates backspin with regularity and has the ability to drive both gaps. Ran a 6.98 60-yard dash and showed 85 mph arm strength from his outfield position. The two-way prospect also topped at 83 mph on the mound.

2/17/19

6-foot-2, 185-pound left-handed her took one of the top rounds of batting practice on the day. He starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a knee-to-knee stride to initiate his swing. Demonstrated an above average feel for the barrel while staying long in the zone, routinely making hard contact with a bat exit velocity of 92 mph. Showed athletic actions defensively with 86 mph arm strength and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. The righty sat 79-83 off the mound with a quick, repeatable arm action. Also showcased a curveball at 68-69 with 11/5 shape and stiff changeup at 77-78. Two-way prospect will be an interesting follow in this class.
