Physical: 5-11, 185 pounds; Athletic, muscular build. 6.82 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a a finish around the back. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 96 MPH via Trackman. Showed plenty of power to the gaps with the ability to backspin the ball.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; static during pre-pitch while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 85 MPH.
Physical: Athletic, two-way skill set at 5-foot-11, 175lbs. 7.03 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Back knee starts inward facing from a narrow/even stance, as the hands operate in a clean place to hit. Utilized a simple up, down leg lift stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Posted a T92 mph bat-exit velocity at 350+ feet while hitting into a soft front side at impact. Plenty of barrel whip and feel for the sweet spot during his batting practice round, pull-side approach.
Defensively: The outfielder used his longer body to glide to the spot and round the ball. Scooped on his left side and exchanged easily before releasing from full H ¾ slot (80 mph, accurate throws). Projects to handle a corner role.
