Physical: Athletic, high-waisted 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame with a next level starter’s build and plenty of strength throughout his game. 7.22 60-yard dash. Virginia Tech commit.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance utilizing slight bend in the knees and the barrel at the shoulder. Utilized a controlled load coupled with a repeatable lift-and-replace stride showcasing not a lot going on the swing allowing for high level bat to ball skills. Long levers contact the ball out in front of the plate creating loud contact during a batting practice round where he plugged the gap with plenty of swing. The lower half gets down and through the ball generating a slightly uphill path with lift through contact. Registered an 92 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The outfielder displayed advanced footwork with feel for multiple routes to the baseball. Can cover either gap drop stepping well to both sides and can go and get it in the air for his pitchers. The arm strength stood out with accuracy towards the target through a high ¾ slot with fluidity and length on the front side. OF - 86 mph
Pitching: RHP - Deliberate pace on the mound, quickness in the delivery through a high ¾ arm-slot with downhill action on an 86-87 mph fastball with legitimate life and hand speed. Mixed a 77-80 mph SL with short horizontal as the out pitch.
