2/13/22
Physical: Long-bodied 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame with some two-way appeal. 7.54 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, open stance with the hands playing loosely above the shoulder to start. Utilized a controlled leg-hang to initiate a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Really connected to the ground, which helped set good direction through the zone, as the barrel easily stayed on plane during the swing. Recorded a loud 94 mph bat-exit velocity with a chance to hold down a future role in the middle of the order. Pull-side juice and extra-base hit success when getting extended on the ball.
Defensively: The outfielder demonstrated a direct route to the ball, fielding off of his left side with a moderate base at the point of attack. Funneled in softly to his chest, set the shoulders, and released with some intent up to an 81 mph arm-strength from his position. Corner OF projection.
Pitching: RHP - The righty started off of the middle of the rubber with a drop step into a medium/high leg-lift above the waist. Featured clean pace in the delivery, getting down the mound with a purpose at release from a H ¾ slot. Shorter arm-swing that allows him to create separation by keeping it back until the last second. The FB held the zone at 82-83 mph with some ride/run characteristics, mixing a sharp, two-plane 67-69 mph CB that flashed late sweep. Countered with a commanded upper-70’s CH killing spin at 1753rpms.

Hands stay neutral at the chest during the wind up. At glove break hand works back diagonally, working into the arm spiral as it moves forwards towards the target. Releases from a high 3/4 arm slot. Falls off to the left side of the rubber after the delivery.
