Showcased feel for a lean and athletic 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame with room to add strength as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even setup utilizing a controlled leg-kick to initiate a fluid, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Demonstrated advanced feel for the barrel using an athletic lower half with flexibility allowing for increased connection between the hips and hands. Displayed a solid round of batting practice with line drives to all fields recording an 84 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash showing off a quick first step and base stealing ability. The primary middle infielder featured active feet with a low center of gravity creating advantageous routes to the ball and downhill momentum towards the target. Flashed quality range to both sides with a soft glove hand working plus and minus, beating the ball to the spot with regularity. Registered an accurate 73 mph arm-strength out of a quick, high ¾ arm-slot which for the time being should keep him at second base.

7/23/19

5-foot-9, 146-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a simple heel-raise stride. Showed rhythm to direct swing with a line drive approach and a feel for the barrel. Registered a 77 mph bat exit velocity and ran an event best 7.07 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet defensively with a soft glove hand while playing through the baseball routinely. Current 73 mph arm strength should continue to develop through strength gains and physical maturity.
