6/20/18 - 6-foot, 215-pound lefty sat 78-79 from a high 3/4 arm slot with some hip coil action to his delivery. Fastball showed some late cut as did his changeup at 73-74 thrown at fastball arm speed. Also displayed command of a curveball with 1/7 rotation at 70-71. Worked three innings striking out four while allowing four hits.
12/30/17 - 6-foot, 215-pound lefty sat 74-76 from a high 3/4 arm slot. Begins delivery with a front rocker step and gets downhill well. Curveball showed tight, short 1/7 break at 68-71 above average command down in the zone. Changeup is thrown out of the same window at fastball arm speed at 70-73. Command of three pitches with repeatable mechanics with a projectable frame makes Ostrowsky a pitcher to follow in this class.
10/29/16 - 5-foot-10, 200-pound lefty sat 75-77 from a high 3/4 arm slot. The sophomore hides the baseball well incorporating some hip coil and a high lead elbow into his delivery. He compliments his fastball with a 69 mph curveball that has 1/7 rotation and a 74 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed with occasional arm-side run. Additional velocity is likely if Ostrowsky adds strength and better incorporates his lower half into his delivery.
