6/15/23

Physical: 6-0, 155 pounds; Proportional, Slight build.

Pitching: Uses an arm side setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 66-67 MPH; lands for strikes. SL: 71-74 MPH; short action. CH: 77-78 MPH; maintains same plain.

10/29/22

Physical: Wiry, high-waisted 5-foot-11, 150lb frame. 8.15 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Balanced, athletic stance with a slight hinge over the plate. Utilized a comfortable leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat, accurate path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Stayed up the middle for a gap-to-gap approach, working inside the ball for a T84 mph exit velocity. Quality barrel-control that produced a 42% line-drive rate via Trackman.

Defensively: The shortstop featured adequate pace on the left side of the infield, bending with a flat back at the touch. Fielded off the center of his body and delivered a whippy 79 mph arm-strength across the diamond after a glove-tap.

Pitching: RHP. Begins from the middle of the rubber; really rides the rear hip with late acceleration down the mound. Quick arm from a ¾ slot, tough to see angle at release. Held a running 79-81 mph FB (2249) for strikes, mixing a sharp upper-60’s CB and 70-72 mph SL with tight cut. Added a commanded 71-73 mph CH.
