9/22/13 Murray showcased pop times of 2.09-2.16 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch. He displayed good footwork and a clean release with the potential to be a solid catch and throw guy at the next level. The right-handed hitter displayed a short swing path and the ability to use all fields with a solid bat exit velocity of 87 mph. Murray worked one scoreless inning on the mound at Lehigh University, topping at 79 mph from an over the top arm slot. The uncommitted senior also showed a 63 mph 11/5 breaking curveball. Murray worked around a hit and an error in the inning to keep the opposition off the scoreboard.
8/18/13 Murray showcased pop times of 2.03-2.06 on throws of 77 mph from the crouch and an 89 mph bat exit velocity. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect went 2-for-4 with a double at the plate over the weekend and swiped several bases. Murray worked two effective innings on the mound at La Roche College, topping at 80 mph.
Murray utilized an over the top arm slot to work two scoreless innings on the mound, recording one strikeout and five outs on the ground. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound righty sat 78-80 and commanded the strike zone effectively.
7/18/13 Murray had a solid showing in many facets of the game. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect ran 7.38 60-yard dash and showed well behind the plate with pop times of 1.97-2.13 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch. Murray showcased an 84 mph bat exit velocity out of a square stance. He displayed the ability to barrel the baseball consistently and stayed inside the baseball well during his round of batting practice. Murray sat 78-79 from the mound while commanding a 69 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 74 mph changeup. He pounded the strike zone and displayed repeatable mechanics.
6/12/13 Murray sat 75-78 from an over the top arm slot with a 63-65 mph 11/5 breaking curveball during his time on the mound. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitter used a square stance and a line drive approach at the plate to square the baseball consistently with an 86 mph bat exit velocity. Murray went 3-for-6 at the plate in game play with two RBI. Murray is a solid receiver of the baseball and showcased pop times of 2.03-2.12 on throws of 72 mph from the crouch.
