Prep Baseball All-American Game: The top prospect originally from Canada in the class of 2024 offers a ton of projection and pitchability alike. Standing a lean 6-foot-5, 210-pounds, Brown utilizes a compact arm circle into a three-quarters slot and incorporates his lower half well. Shows advanced ability to repeat. Heavy fastball at 89-91 with sink and late, arm-side run that creates a ton of soft contact and present feel for the zone. Low-80s slider has some short, tight gyro movement that will pick up whiffs and flash as a put-away pitch. Changeup at 83-85 will tunnel well off the fastball and has a chance to play way up down the road as he continues to add velo. The feel for three and impressive frame gives the Oklahoma State commit a great ball of clay as he appears to just be scratching the surface of his potential.

Part of a loaded roster coming out of Canada, Brown set the tone for a huge week from our neighbors to the north. At 6-foot-5, 185-pounds, the athletic right-hander holds significant upside with present stuff. The fastball worked 87-89 at the Future Games thanks to a short, quick arm stroke and aggressive intent out front. The late life to the arm side was devastating at times, and should help allow him to pitch off the fastball in future looks. His shorter, 77-80 slider was thrown for strikes and holds significant upside as a potential out-pitch. Still growing into his long frame, there is already plenty to like about Brown, and he is sure to have plenty of college coaches monitoring him closely moving forward.

Brown, standing 6-foot-5, 185-pounds, is one of the most electric arms in Canada right now in the 2024 class. The FB has life to it sitting 88-90 mph which he commands on both sides of the plate. When he gets on top of his 74-75 mph slider it has sharp break and is a swing and miss pitch and the change up shows fading action at 80-81 mph. Had multiple strikeouts blowing the fastball by hitters, Brown’s imposing frame and feel to pitch is exciting to watch and he will be a close follow through the summer.

Brown, 6-foot-4, 186-pounds, is easily one of the most electric arms we saw at the OBJ Scout Day. The uncommitted RHP has a long projectable pitchers frame with loose arm action. Brown sat 88-89 mph with his FB and was all over the zone at the knees. His SL worked nicely at 79-80 mph that showed some bite to it, the CH was 82-83 mph. Brown is a good looking young pitching prospect that everyone should have their eye on, one of the top ‘24’s in the country.
