10/21/17 - Home-1st: 4.47, Position Velocity:  IF-88, Exit Velocity: 90
6-foot-0, 165-pound, RHH built on his strong showing at the Fall Top Prospect Games and went 2-6 in game w/ impact defensive tools.  Medium, athletic frame w/ lean strength, projectable.  Offensively, hits from a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Mini leg kick to slightly open w/ proper load.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Arm bar w/ up the middle approach.  Got a little pull heavy on this day.  Shows gap power w/ developing HR power.  Average runner is above average underway.  Has progressively run better times at since last October for each PBR event he has gone to.  Defensively, is a true SS w/ soft hands, good feet.  Plays through the ball well w/ ability to make tough play and routine play.  Plus arm strength w/ carry through target.  Big time SS prospect in the 2019 class.
9/24/17 - Home-1st: 4.53, Position Velocity:  88, Exit Velocity: 91
6-foot-0, 165-pound, RHH posted the top exit velocity for a middle of the field player w/ zero swing and miss in game.  Medium, athletic frame w/ lean strength, projection.  Righty hits w/ slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Stride to slightly open w/ proper load.  Generates big bat speed in pull oriented approach.  Balanced swing w/ ability to stay back and drive off-speed pitches.  As frame develops strength, will have large power ceiling for position.  Barrel feel.  Showed gap to gap approach w/ pull power.  Average runner makes it play on bases, swiped two bags.  Defensively, is a true SS w/ range both ways.  Arm strength w/ carry through target.  Made a number of nice, athletic plays in game.  All-around 2019 prospect shows high level tools and should be a priority follow in the class.

1/29/17 - Home-1st: 4.65, Position Velocity:  IF-78, Exit Velocity: 77
5-foot-11, 150-pound, RHH hit from the same wider and slightly open stance we’ve seen from him in the past with loose hands, uses a short stride and a subtle movement back with his hands to get loaded, lower half stays wide and creates some good separation, bat path is flat and stays through the zone for a pretty long time, approach allows him to spray the ball around the field.  Defensively, continues to show soft hands and good footwork in the infield, has a good feel for the position, arm action is long through a high ¾ slot, throws are consistent with accuracy.

10/16/16 - Home-1st: 4.77, Position Velocity:  IF - 78, Exit Velocity: 81
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHH hits from a wider and slightly open stance with the same hand movement in his pre-pitch stance above his head that we saw from him at the Underclass Games in July, rhythmic stride and hand movement back to get loaded, lower half fires very well and creates a lot of separation when clearing his hips, stays loose and uses a swing path that is flat almost all the way through the zone, hit low line drives all around the field.  Defensively, showed smooth hands and footwork in the infield, played through the ball fluidly and used a longer arm action through a ¾ release point, throws were accurate. King had some productive at bats and recorded a single, a run, and an RBI.

7/26/16 - Home-1st: 4.72, Position Velocity:  79, Exit Velocity: 82
5-foot-9, 150-pound, RHH hits from an athletic and slightly open stance with a lot of hand movement over his head, uses a smooth stride and a lowering and reach back of his hands to get himself loaded and separated, lower half glides a little but does get through and sometimes even over-rotates, back side allows his bat to get on plane early and stay through the zone well, hit some low line drives in BP and went 2-4 with two hard hit doubles in game play.  Defensively, showed soft hands and above average footwork and the ability to make a variety of plays with good range, quick and efficient transfer and arm action help him to use some different arm angles to make very accurate throws with good carry across the infield. King is a 2019 that could develop into something special.
