6/12/18 - Home-1st: 5.07, Position Velocity:  IF-83, Exit Velocity: 78
6-foot-0, 190-pound, RHH put on a show in BP with a couple home runs and those swings suggest the exit velocity is actually higher than tested off the tee.  Medium, physical, well-proportioned frame w/ present strength, some physical projection.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ bat resting on back shoulder into shift of weight, stride to square and short hand load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone w/ natural loft.  Pull oriented approach, wants to elevate the baseball.  Barrel stays in zone for long time.  Projectable power to all fields w/ present pull power.  Below average runner, but not a clogger.  Defensively, shows soft hands and quick release w/ carry through target arm strength.  Moves well for size, shows some first step quickness.  Projects to stay at 3B.

6/13/17 - H-1B: 5.02, Position Velocity: 77, Exit Velocity: 84
6’0, 190-pound, RHH has a well-build frame and a very strong lower half for his age.  Landers has some natural baseball skill and put together a very solid round of BP with some pop and simplicity.  Seems to have a good approach at the plate and a tremendous feel for the game.  Defensively, he showed good hands and got the ball across the infield with some solid carry.  Plenty of room for improvement in his footwork and may turn into a very good defensive 1B at the next level.  Landers hit a couple of balls very hard in game play, but wasn’t able to find a hole.

1/16/17 - 60 Time: 8.07, Position Velocity:  IF-76, Exit Velocity: 87
6-foot-0, 190-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and very slightly open stance with his hands relaxed near his arm pit and his elbows tucked down to begin, uses a short and early stride with a slight movement back of his hands to get loaded, lower half fires with some authority and can even over-rotate at times, stays tall through contact, swing plane is pretty flat but doesn’t quite achieve the extension he’s capable of.  Defensively, showed solid hands and good footwork at the corner, played through the ball smoothly and with rhythm, exchange is efficient and leads to a slightly longer arm action through a ¾ release point.
