(Station Camp, 2024) The Belmont signee had a really strong spring in 2023 hitting for a high average, while also being an above average glove in center-field. He carried that over to the summer circuit that saw him commit to Belmont by season’s end. He comes into the spring 2024 season with a stronger frame at 5 foot 11 and 185 pounds. He is really bouncy and someone that I think is extremely under the radar. There is smoothness to the swing with easy rotational ability to turn on inside pitches. He didn’t have his best game at the plate, but barrelling up his 1 batted ball but showed the easy backspin with a hard shot line-drive. Belmont is getting a really talented player in Rice, as he is someone that should only get better in college.
