OF Pierre Seals (2021) is regarded as the top uncommitted senior still left on the board, but it’s not for lack of interest. Seals has been a consistent performer during the summer/spring circuit and continued to show well here for Houston HS. At 5-11, 185, the right-handed hitter has strength throughout the frame and is highly athletic. Went 1-3 with a single and walk in this game, but one of the biggest swings of the day from Seal was during his 2nd at-bat, when he blistered a fastball over the plate and drove it to the gap, but was ultimately tracked down for a deep flyout. It’s a very professional, selective approach at the plate, as he never seems to get fooled and stays balanced while waiting for his pitch. He’s got some quick twitch in his actions and was a 6.86 runner at the PBR Future Games two summers ago.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound physical outfielder is the top available player on the board in the state after an excellent circuit in 2019, picking up Future Games and Border Battle accolades. Advanced approach at the dish with some explosive bat speed, bat jumps off the barrel. Moves well defensively, projects to be all-around corner OF with ample arm strength and ball tracking skills. Chance to play CF at next level, if speeds ticks up a notch. Surprising to still see Seals on the market at this point, but should find a home in the near future.

Seals stood out this summer at Wow Factor Scout Day before receiving an invite to PBR Future Games. The #1 uncommitted outfielder showed great physicality and advanced approach at the plate. With Team Tennessee, Seals logged a hit in all three games (3 for 6 | 5 Quality at bats in 7 PA) and impressed during the showcase w/ his easy gap-to-gap power and strong arm from the OF. A must-see prospect heading into 2020 rose from 26 to 16 (+10).

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound physical outfielder was the only Team Tennessee player to log a hit in each game throughout the weekend. Seals went 3 for 6 (2 1B/ 1 2B/ 1 BB) w/ 5 quality at bats in 7 plate appearances. Showed advanced plate approach. During the workout, Seals showcased a simple, explosive swing belting baseballs gap-to-gap with ease. The hit and power tool pair nicely w/ a quick release, strong arm that gets good carry on throws. Defensively, he played all three outfield positions w/ great arm and above average range. Profile projects as run-producing outfielder w/ strong physical game and variety of tools.
