A highly touted 3B, the young freshman is an offensive left side of the infield guy with tons of upside at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. He stroked balls during BP and posted a top exit veloicty of 86 mph then showed true carry across the diamond at 83 mph. The bat is gonna play. Really easy power in the swing, tight load, loose rotation, and barrel flashes through the zone.
10/20/18 - Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds with a projectable, athletic frame. Stood out offensively where he showed a balanced approach and quick hands through the zone with a feel for the barrel. Takes a smart at-bat and looks to drive the fastball into the gaps. During gameplay, he laced a ball into the left-center field gap for an RBI double. Climie will be a strong bat to follow and should see jumps in his gap-to-gap power as he strengthens his frame.
