Strong, projectable 6-foot-2, 198-pound frame, Pelter continues to establish himself as one of the top 2021 arms in the state of Texas. The right-handed pitcher works methodically towards home plate in an elevated, tightly-wound delivery with a quick arm stroke from a ¾ arm slot. Comes downhill with power, as he clears his front side with force and does well to transfer his weight and square his shoulders at the pivot point. His fastball was consistently 86-89 mph with good carry up in the zone. The slider was 74-75 mph with tight 10/4 shape. Still only a rising sophomore, Pelter has the tools to continue inflating his stock.

06.05.18
At 6-foot-2, 198-pounds, Pelter has a strong, projectable frame with square shoulders. The No. 9 ranked sophomore in Texas continues to impress on the mound. Working from a ¾ slot with a tall-and-fall delivery the right-hander dotted up the zone with his fastball at 86-88 mph with arm side run. His slider has tightened up since we saw him in early January, the pitch is now 73-76 with tight rotation and 10/4 shape. With his feel for two pitches, arm speed, and projectable frame, Pelter is already garnering the attention of college recruiters.

1.20.18
Pelter stands 6-foot-2, 195-pounds with a strong frame and broad shoulders. His fastball sat 84-86 mph on saturday with arm side run. The right-hander has some funk and deception in his delivery with a quick arm. Showed feel for a changeup at 71-73 mph, with a developing curveball at 70-71 mph with lateral break.
