Young has a lean-strong frame at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Ran one of the fastest catcher 60-times of the day with a 7.14. The right-handed hitter starts from a wide, slightly open stance, then loads back easy before taking a short stride forward, landing slightly closed. Slots the barrel in the zone, working on an upward plane, strong hands, hard contact and top exit velocity of 92 mph. Behind the dish, he posted pop times of 2.14-2.25, quick exchange, repeats his release point from a ¾ slot with a top with a top velocity of 74 mph from the crouch.

5-foot-11, 170-pound frame.  Right handed power bat, barrel; 90 mph exit velo, hit two balls out to left field in bp.  Slightly uphill plane, looks to do damage to left side of the field, barrel in zone early and stays through zone with good extension and high finish.  Handles the bat well, driving pitches middle in and shows patience and barrel awareness on other pitches around the zone. Crouched stance with a minimal stride, good rhythm in load.  Some effort in swing. Athletic player, 6.95 laser-timed 60. Behind the plate, he received live pitchers well with smooth and quiet body actions. Quick transfer and release to second base with strong carry and a top velocity from the crouch of 74 mph, pop times ranged from 2.00-2.14.  Throws well from knees, showing accuracy and similar carry to second base.

5-foot-10, 165 pounds. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance with the barrel wrapped behind his head with relaxed hands. Smooth leg lift as he loads back, triggering his hands back. Lands balanced, simple weight transfer as the barrel gets on plane early. Slots the barrel low, working on an uphill path with a front arm bar. Good leverage and lift in the swing with an exit velocity of 90 mph. Strong contact with current gap power and more likely to come in the future. Behind the plate, he threw 73 mph from the crouch with pop times ranging from 2.07-2.32. Clean exchange, directional footwork and average accuracy.
