2.23.18 Golomb looks as if he has added some size and strength to his estimated 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ arm slot with a long, loose, quick arm swing. Coming on in relief of Stephenson, Golomb entered the game with a 3-0 lead and he was throwing darts early at 87-89 mph, touching 91 his third pitch. Out of the stretch, he was 84-86. Command was good early, but scattered when he worked out of the stretch. Although he allowed 4 runs and took the loss, there is a lot to like about the sophomore. His curveball is a 12/6 bender at 68-73 mph. His changeup is 70-72.
