6/26/19

5-foot-10 165-pound frame, 6.97 60-yard dash. Right-handed swing with an 86 mph exit velocity. Quiet body and loose swing, barrel able to stay flat through the zone and comes off the bat very easily. IF work had 84 mph throws across the diamond, showed quick feet and a smooth arm.

11.04.18
Evangelista has added strength this fall and it showed with the bat on Sunday. The right-handed hitter launched a triple to left-centerfield during the game. Simple swing with a short, balanced leg kick and a direct path give him room for error. On the infield, he has soft hands to go with a fast exchange.

9.9.18
Listed at 5-foot-9, 155-pounds, Evangelista has an athletic frame, and plays catch at a high level. He moves well at shortstop with smooth actions, quick feet, soft hands, quick release, and an accurate arm from different slots with a top velocity of 81 mph. The right-handed hitter starts from a slighlty open stance, then triggers as his top hand cocks the barrel. Short stride, smooth swing, inside/out path, and quick hands working slightly uphill with a loose finish produced crisp contact during BP with an exit velocity of 85 mph. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash.
