04.29.17 - Hearn is a long-limbed, sturdy framed catcher at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds. The junior has arm strength with carry and throws with accuracy. Hearn has good lower half mobility for a large frame, but his exchange will need to improve as he develops. His pop times ranged from 2.08-2.27 between innings. The right-handed hitter has a stiff, crouched setup at the plate with strength at contact. He was 4-for-7, with four RBI, a home run, and two doubles. None of his hits were bigger than his two-run homerun to right field in the top of the seventh on Saturday.

04.25.17 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound, strong, long-limbed frame. Defensively, Hearn has good overall mobility in his lower half. But it was his offense that highlighted his game on Tuesday. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two-RBI, and a walk. Both of Hearn’s doubles were well struck, including his second double that he blasted to the base of the centerfield wall.
