Brignon continues to raise his game to another level. He has put on some notable strength and it shows in all facets, including his game speed. Defensively, he had a great day. Took control and made some difficult plays look easy. His range has improved and so has the arm strength. At the plate, Brignon had 3 hits including the double below. He shows above average bat speed, and as he continues to get stronger, this uncommitted sophomore is poised for another jump.
Watching the maturation of Brignon has been fun the last couple of years. He has added some notable physicality to his game, and it showed on Sunday. He had a max exit velocity of 96.3 and banged multiple balls of the wall. He had the 2nd best bat speed there with a max of 79.7. Defensively, he still shows the soft hands in the infield and more than enough arm strength for the left side of the infield. He had a max infield velo of 84.

Hit: RH. Balanced stance, leg kick load trigger, slight barrel tilt swing trigger, slightly uphill swing plane, hitting line drives and fly balls to the pull-side gap.
