HP Scout Day 2018
Lee threw 88 from the outfield and posted an exit velocity of 91 mph off the tee, but outing on the mound was also quality. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with an up-tempo delivery with a quick hand out front. Sinker/SL guy with an 81-82 mph fastball, and 72 mph slider. Pounded the zone and worked quick.

01.06.18
Lee has a projectable pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a long, quick arm stroke and up tempo delivery with aggression down the mound. Throws a heavy fastball that he turns over as his hand gets inside the ball at 78-80 mph. His curveball has short late break, 11/5 shape, and shows signs of becoming a plus pitch at 70-74 mph. Throws his changeup with fastball arm speed and arm side fade at 73-75 mph.  A two-way player and switch-hitter, Lee starts from a tall, open stance from the right side. Simple load back with a reverse leg-lift as he triggers his hands back. Transfers weight easy with good energy in his hack, hard contact, strong top hand, gap power, natural lift, loose finish and an exit velocity of 81 mph. On the left side, he has a similar setup, leg lift, and load. More rotational upper body, and line drive contact. In the outfield, Lee plays through the ball with soft hands, quickish footwork, clean exchange and topped out at 88 mph.
