2.27.19
6-foot-2, 210-pound athletic, projectable frame. The right-hander works from a ¾ slot with a long, whippy arm swing. His fastball was 88-90 mph most of the night, dropping to 87-89 mph later in his outing. Fastball command was very good, able to throw it all four quadrants of the strike zone. His slider has a 10-4 shape at 74-76 mph. Threw it to both sides of the plate and bury it in on left-handed hitters when needed. He was able to get hitters to expand outside the zone on both pitches as well.
6.25.18
FB 90-91 with arm side life. CH 82, SL 74-76.
May, 2018 UIL Playoffs
Texas commit. The right-hander works from a ¾ slot with a slight reach in the back of an otherwise clean arm stroke. His fastball sat 86-88 early in his outing. His best off speed pitch was a 78-79 mph changeup that he threw with fastball arm speed. His slider has short flat break at 77 mph and is more of a wrinkle. Quality outing for the junior as he went 5 complete innings, allowed only one earned run on 5 hits, 2 walks, and seven strikeouts to earn the win. Hit a laser to left field for a two RBI home run that put the Highlanders up by 7 runs in the bottom of the sixth.
