This was my 2nd time seeing Seoane, and I continue to be impressed by the sophomore. He is just a baseball player, and a guy that every coach wants on their team. The Switch Hitting catcher has a more contact oriented swing from the right side, while he has the ability to backspin balls and get into his power from the Left. His arm strength was on display, as he was 88 across the diamond. He had pop times ranging from 2.01-2.07

Positional Profile: C/2B
Body: 5-foot-10, 175 pounds.
Hit: SH. Open stance, leg lift load trigger, barrel tilt swing trigger, uphill swing plane using the RCF gap hitting line drives and fly balls. Same setup and loads for both sides.
Power: 86.9 mph max exit velocity in BP, 75.1 mph average exit velocity, 306 feet max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 75 mph. INF - 85 mph. Short arm action, good carry to the bag with accurate throws.
Defense: Worked at catcher and on the infield. 2.11 pop time, clean footwork getting in line with 2B, quick funnel to release with good hands, clean transfer behind the plate. Good footwork getting into fielding position, fields the ball with rhythm towards his target, clean funnel to release with good hands on the infield.
Run: 7.57 runner in the 60.

Switch hitting catcher showed natural ability from both sides of the plate as a hitter. Showed a 2.05 POP time in the workout with accurate throws as well as an in game barrel to LCF.. Lots to like from the young backstop
