Motter is 5-11 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller open balanced stance, short stride in place, short load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, showed a good approach, using the entire field, exit velocity was 82. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, long free arm action, position velocity was 76. Ran a 4.33 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action with normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands open with a bit of a fall off finish. Fastball was 66-69, with some armside run that also has some depth. Curveball was 56-59 with some armspeed and big gradual 11/5 break to it with some shape present. Change-up was 58-59 with some armspeed and heavy fade to it.
