7/31/14: 5-foot-11, 155 pound, Catcher with a long lean frame. He is very athletic behind the plate with quick feet. He has above average arm strength that projects to be plus by the time he graduates. Rall is extremely quick with his transfer and release, with all of his pop times in the 1.97-2.03 range and all thrown with a very high level of accuracy. He does an outstanding job of gaining ground with his feet, and snapping out a quick, short arm action. At the plate, Rall has a rhythm to his swing. He has a large stride and leaks forward slightly. He does use his hips well to generate power. He occasionally casts his hands a bit on balls away but he currently has a gap stroke. 2/15/15: Hit from a balanced stance that was slightly open.
