Winters is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, level line drive swing path with strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, extra base power present with the potential for more as he develops, exit velocity was 87. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, short loose very quick arm action, position velocity was 87. Ran a 7.39 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, long loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands opened with a fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 81-84, touching 85, with some angle and late armside run to it. Curveball was 66-69 with good armspeed and sharp 1/7 break to it. Change-up was 70-71 good armspeed and late hard armside run to it with some depth.
