RVA Fall Review
Athletic makeup at 6-foot-1, 203-pounds with some projection left to it. Athletic balanced setup at the plate that starts open and strides in slightly closed. Swing has some distinct uphill tilt to it and finishes on extension. Showed some pull side tendency and power potential as he continues to fill out an already strong frame. Exit velocity was 81 mph. Behind the plate Fletcher showed a clean exchange, average arm circle, and throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 74 mph. Pops ranged from 2.00-2.13. In the infield showed solid glove presentation, worked behind the ball, and had a clean exchange. Showed some comfortability making plays on the move from multiple arm slots. Infield velocity was 80 mph. Home-1st time was 4.49. On the mound he had a small rocker step to start. Average leg lift, strides out down the mound, and lands on line. Full arm circle and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 75-78 mph and topped at 79. Curveball was 63-65 mph with 12/6 shape. Slider sat 67-68 with 11/5 shape. Changeup flashed some late fade at 68-69 with solid arm speed.
