Ott is 6-3 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, leg kick stride on line, short load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing with strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, power present to the pull side, exit velocity was 93. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands, works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 83. He ran  7.50 60 yard dash.

Ott is 6-2 with a mature athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a relaxed open upright stance, big leg kick stride on line, loads back, hips rotate completely with some violence, has some balance during his swing. Quick to contact, keeps hands inside ball, fast bat, strong at contact point with extension through it, slightly uphill path, line drive swing has loft built in and ball carries to all fields, showed good approach working gap to gap, easy home run power to pull side, exit velocity was 97. At first base, gets body behind ball and fields with average hands. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, free arm action, position velocity was 83. Home to first was 4.46. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with long free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and on line, lands square with athletic finish. Drop and drive delivery. Fastball was 78-81 with late run to it. Curveball was 68-69 with late sharp 10/4 break and good armspeed, flashes swing and miss. Change-up was 74-75 with good armspeed and some late life.
