Tallon is a Duke commit and is 6-4 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. Long limbs, simple drop and drive delivery, lands on line with some spin off in his finish and recoil. Long loose quick arm action from a low three-quarters slot, creates some deception with closed shoulders as he strides out, also creates a tough angle for hitters with his length. Fastball was 88-89, topping at 90, pitch had a bit of late sink to it and spun at about 2300 rpm consistently. Breaking balls came in at 74-76, and the spin on both was in the 2450-2500 rpm range. He signaled for a curve and slider and they had similar 2/8 shape and were sharp, curve's break was a bit bigger and slider was later. Changeup was 82-83 with good armspeed and some late sink to it.

Tallon is a Duke commit, he is 6-4 and has a lankier athletic frame that has a lot of projection left to it. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose very quick arm, easier effort to delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders uphill and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 88-89, touching 90 twice, early in the game. Settled into 86-88 during the middle innings, velocity started to tail off a bit in the sixth to 83-86. Pitch has some late armside run that gets a bit of two-plane depth as well. Slider was 72-78 with good armspeed and big gradual 2/8 break, has some shape, just needs to sharpen up. Change-up was 77-81 with good armspeed and late fade to it. Showed ability to throw all three for strikes and was able to attack inside on righties with his fastball.

Tallon has a tall lanky frame with long levers and a lot of projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, breaks long before shortening up to a short loose quick arm action, easy velocity, ball jumps out of his hand. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish, has some deception in his delivery. Fastball was 86-89, touching 90, with heavy armside run to it. Curveball was 71-75 with late sharp 2/8 break and change-up was 78-82 with good armspeed and late armside run. Made a big jump in the offseason and still has a lot of projection left to him.
