VA/DC State Games

Leckzas is 5-11 with an athletic frame that has strength present in the lower half and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced open athletic stance, two tap stride on line, short smooth load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, strong at contact with extension through the ball, showed a pull approach with some power present that way and natural loft in his swing, exit velocity was 92. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands, works through ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short quick arm action position velocity was 87. Ran a 7.34 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, very short loose lightning quick arm action and easier effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 83-87, with hard heavy armside run. Curveball had good armspeed and was 69-71 with sharp 11/5 break to it, some shape to it, chance to be swing and miss as it tightens.

Leckszas is 5-9 with a lankier athletic frame that has projection left to it. He throws from a lower there-quarters arm slot with a longer, loose arm action that is quick with normal effort. Simple delivery, generates energy towards home plate and stays on direction, shoulders are uphill, relaxed athletic finish. Fastball was 75-78, touching 79 with late run to it. Showed ability to work to either corner with his fastball. Curveball was 68-70 with some armspeed and gradual 10/4 break. The pitch has some shape to it and potential to sharpen as he gets stronger and throws it harder.
