9.23.15: Thomas has an athletic 5-11 frame. He hits from the right side and has a tall stance. Thomas has a smooth back load and a slight leg kick stride. He has an explosive lower half and excellent balance throughout his swing to go with good bat speed. He is short to ball and gets good extension through it with a gap to gap approach and power potential. He had an exit velocity of 81. Behind the plate, Thomas has good hands and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a quick arm action and a positional velocity of 72. His exchange was a bit slow and his 2.16-2.18 pop times should improve significantly when he speeds it up.
