Chadwell is 6-5 with an athletic frame that has some strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a slightly open relaxed athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, short load back. Hips rotate with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, very strong at contact with extension through the ball, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, power present to all fields, exit velocity was 95. Ran a 7.16 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are level and closed, lands square with an athletic finish and some recoil. Fastball was 86-88, touching 89, with hard boring run to armside. Curveball had good armspeed and was 76-77 with late hard 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 80-83 with good armspeed and heavy late fade to it.
