Verges used a fastball-curveball mix to control the zone with a 71% strike rate. A two-seam fastball held 77-79 mph throughout the outing with some slight sinking action. The curveball played with slurve-like movement at 63-66 mph. A tall-and-fall delivery with a big knee kick works directionally in line with home.
