Winona State University commit. Arendt was one of the toughest outs in De Pere’s lineup down the stretch in their run to a Division 1 State Championship, as he completes this First Team All-State group with elite two-way numbers. Before the State Tournament, the senior hit .417 with 20 RBIs and 22 runs scored—clutching up in the big moments for the Redbirds. He hopped on the mound and excelled in his final start of the year against Menasha—twirling a complete game shutout in the Division 1 Quarterfinals. That outing summarized his season on the bump, as Arendt was 6-1 with three saves—taking the ball in high-leverage moments for De Pere. Arendt racked up 56 strikeouts with a 0.72 ERA, dominating in nearly every one of his starts. The senior wound up being one of the most valuable players in the Redbirds’ program—earning him First Team All-State honors for his efforts on the diamond.

A ranked two-way player in the 2024 class, OF/RHP Easton Arendt (De Pere) is a multi-tool athlete that can play on both sides of the ball. Standing at 6-foot, 170 pounds, Arendt profiles as a wiry, athletic build with good proportions that is able to move well in his body. The left-handed hitter sits in the box with a strong back elbow and stays flat through the zone. During BP, he was constantly on the barrel to his pull-side. In the outfield, Arendt moved smoothly and displayed a one handed gather that quickly transferred and got rid of the ball. Displaying athleticism again, Arendt ran a 7.08 60-yard dash and clocked a 1.77 10-yard split. On the mound, he ran his fastball up to 85 mph and showed projectability throughout his delivery. Having a repeatable drop and drive delivery, Arendt rounded out his performance and proved why he is an uncommitted two way to follow in Wisconsin’s incoming senior class.

Arendt is one of the most athletic members of the state’s incoming junior class, complete with two-way abilities. While his future might ultimately be on the mound, Arendt is a legitimate center field defender with some of the best bat-to-ball skills in the state from the left-handed batter’s box. Still, he possesses a quality fastball that projects especially well, as a high-spin offering measured in the mid-80s here. He reached an 85.6 mph high at an average spin rate of 2,145 rpm, featuring carry through the zone. Arendt’s short curveball, 70-72 mph, also spins at an above-average rate, and his general athleticism grants him some genuine promise from the mound – but don’t count out his skills as a position player, either.
