6/13/17 - Drafted in the 9th round out of East Carolina by the St. Louis Cardinals. 

4/10/13 - 6-foot-5, 180-pounds. Fastball velocity was down (81-84 mph) from what we’ve seen in the past (86-88). Out of rhythm in the first inning, showed the ability to make in game adjustments. Displayed excellent command thereafter, 10 strikeouts in five innings. Showed above average arm side run on fastball. Curveball had 11/5 sweeping action, excellent late bite. East Carolina commit.

2/3/13 - Long, slender frame, extremely projectable body, 6-foot-5, 175-pound left handed pitcher. High ceiling lefty, long limbed. Delivery is directional, a lot of knees and elbows, shows deception. Shoulders stay level, landing is square and finish is athletic. Arm action works cleanly, long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, quick arm action. Fastball shows excellent command, features arm side run and some sink, pitched comfortably at 88 mph, flashed 86-87 from the stretch. Curveball has sweeping action, sitting between an 11/5 and 10/4 shape, arm speed is comparable and throws for strikes, 74-75 mph, touching 76 mph. Changeup is his most polished secondary pitch, thrown with fastball arm speed, features arm side action and commanded the bottom of the zone, 78-80 mph. Kruczynski shows the feel for three pitches with command of two, his upside is tremendous and could be a high follow for scouts this spring. Kruczynski is an East Carolina commit.
