Romens is currently one of the top uncommitted outfielders in the state's 2026 class, and he flashed all sorts of athleticism throughout the event. Romens stands an athletic 5-foot-7, 161-pound, ran a 6.86 60-yard dash, had a max EV of 96 mph, and tossed 81 mph from the outfield. In gameplay, Romens stood out, showed aggression at the plate as well as on the bases, swiping bags left and right and attacking pitches early in the count. The LHH was on the barrel throughout the event and connected a number of hits, and he is another of the best prospects in Wisconsin who does not yet have a next-level home.

Romens displays an athletic 5-foot-7, 163-pound frame with more room for growth. At the plate he was 1-for-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run. Romens has a gap-to-gap approach, quality swings, and zone awareness. Defensively he tracks balls well in centerfield and has strong throws. Uncommitted follow in the 2026 class.

Romens would have a solid day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double, 3 RBIs, three runs scored, and four walks. The uncommitted junior had a hitterish feel in the box with a loose left-handed swing that took quality cuts throughout the game. The centerfield would also show plus instincts with solid range and a good first step. Athletic 5-foot-7, 163-pound frame with dynamic strength and room for physical development.

Romens showed enough speed during his 60 yard dash (7.03 seconds) to be an impactful baserunner and defender in the outfield. Next, with the bat, Romens was showcasing extremely quick hands from his downhill left handed swing as he was barrelling up the baseball consistently throughout his round. His 97 mph max exit velocity number is up 7 mph from the last time we saw him in 2024. His throwing arm was 87 mph from the outfield from a loose, clean and fluid arm stroke and is a weapon for the junior outfielder. Kaiden Romens is a name that our staff continues to be impressed with and he continues to improve in all aspects of his game and is ready for a big spring.

Hit: LHH. Wider base with relaxed hands, simple move with consistent trigger on time. Flat and short path with bat speed, hits rockets middle to pull side. 68.6 mph bat speed with 23 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 82.8 mph. 315' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-83 mph. 3/4 slot, quick arm, shows carry, accurate.

The sophomore sets up with a wide base and relaxed hands, working into a simple load that enabled him to be on-time consistently. Romens has a short, flat bat path that generates some easy bat speed, leading to hard line drives to the middle of the field and pull-side. The 5-foot-7, 148-pound Romens topped out at 90.5 mph in exit velocity. In the outfield, Romens showed athleticism with a clean gather into a crow hop and quick release. The arm is quick, working up to 83 mph.

Romens is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound outfielder who was on the barrel across a couple of looks this weekend. Romens, a left-handed hitter, swings a quick and direct bat that has the ability to shoot that ball to the whole field. His bat-to-ball skills are noteworthy and he is surely a prospect to continue to keep tabs on as he continues to develop.
