Duke commit. 6-foot-1, 175-pound, two-way player, athletic plays with confidence. Worked out of the pen, easy repeatable delivery. High ¾ slot. Fastball sat easy 86-88 mph, down in the zone with sink. Advanced changeup with arm side action, 80 mph. Breaking ball played at 79 mph. 

Duke commit. Fox had one of the best outings in Mauston. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound southpaw was sent to the mound to face a loaded Hitters lineup and did not disappoint. The 2nd ranked left handed pitcher in the state went the distance and allowed only one hit and one walk while striking out three. Fox showcased long and loose arm action from a ¾ slot with electric arm speed. He sat in the 86-88 mph range for the first few frames, touching 89 mph once or twice. Fox’s arsenal of offspeed pitches helped keep batter’s off balance. His curveball sat 74-77 mph with 1/7 shape and depth. He mixed in an excellent changeup at 77-80 mph to miss barrels. Fox’s ability to control the baseball resulted in consistent weak contact against a lineup that was barreling up baseballs all weekend. Final line: CG (7 IP), 0 R, 1 H, 3 K, 1 BB.

7/8/18 - 6-foot, 175-pound strong framed, athletic, projectable left-handed hitting outfielder. Balanced, slightly crouched setup, short load, quiet, loose hands, fluid rhythm throughout, drives through baseball. Drove a ball to deep center resulting in a triple.

3/11/18 - Currently ranked No. 4 in Wisconsin’s Class of 2020 and No. 177 Overall. High level arm. 6-foot, 175-pound, left-handed hitting two-way prospect, athletically-built with lean muscle. On the mound, loose, athletic arm action, quick arm speed, ¾ slot, easy effort. Athletic delivery, tall and fall, smooth rhythm, level shoulders, works on-line, lands square, finishes athletically. Fastball, run action, commanded, 83-85, touched 87. Curveball, 1/7 shape, depth, 74-76. Changeup, located, 76-79. Cutter, slight action, 79-81. Defensively, long, loose arm action, high ¾ slot, easy effort. Plays through the ball, soft hands, clean on exchanges, 88 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.10 laser-timed 60. Offensively, open setup, short stride, maintains balance through contact. Pull approach, long barrel path, present bat speed, 80 mph exit velocity.

7/24/17 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound LHP/OF with an athletic frame. On the mound works from a ¾ arm angle with a long, loose arm action. Tall and fall delivery with easy effort. Smooth rhythm working in line with home plate with an athletic finish. Fastball has running action, gets in on the hands of hitters. Sat 81-84 topping out at 85 mph. Curveball has 2-8 shape with short breaking action at 72-74 mph. Changeup has running action at 77 mph. Consistently gets weak contact, ball didn't leave the infield in his appearance, struck out two. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short load and heel lift stride. Pull hitter with fluid rhythm. 80 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.44 runner down the line. Defensively has a long arm action from a ¾ slot. Accurate throws from the outfield at 85 mph with carry. Athletic actions, plays thru the ball. Made a diving catch in centerfield in game.

7/7/17 - Athletic, left-handed hitting outfielder. Defensively takes good routes in the outfield. At the plate hits from a balanced setup, pulls off pitches some, works the opposite field. Short, uphill swing path with a fast bat. 4.26 runner down the line on a 4-3. Also has been up to 84 on the mound in the past, interesting arm to watch this weekend.  5-foot-11, 160-pound left-handed pitcher, highly athletic. Easy athletic delivery, slightly across his body, long arm path, ¾ slot. Fastball topped at 85 mph, sat 81-84 mph, slight arm side run. Curveball has sweeping action, slurve type breaking ball, 72-74 mph. Changeup played 75-77 mph, occasional sink, showed feel.

4/22/17 -5-foot-11, 161-pound left-handed pitcher with a strong frame. Works from a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall and fall delivery working in line with home plate. Easy effort. Showed good balance throughout delivery. Fastball worked 81-84 mph early on in the outing, settled in at 80-82 mph. Curveball has 1-7 shape at 72-73 mph. Changeup showed cutting action at 77 mph. One of the top 2020 arms to follow in Wisconsin.
