Across two looks, Ryback, an uncommitted senior was impressive on both sides of the ball. At the plate Ryback collected three hits, two of those going for doubles, across both games driving in four runs and showing the ability to impact the ball especially to the pullside. Defensively Ryback impressed behind the dish with his ability as a receiver and his ability to steal strikes on the outer part of the plate.

Ryback is listed at an athletic 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with strength throughout his athletic frame.. Ryback continues to show well in front of our staff at events. He’s an athletic back stop who can run; he ran a 6.99 seconds 60 yard dash which was 15th out of over 200 players who ran. He produced exit velocities in the low 90s from a quick, short, compact, and direct swing path. Behind the plate, he was throwing seeds down to second base and registered the third best pop time of the event at 1.94 seconds.

Ryback is an athletic catching prospect with a feel for the position. Listed at 5-foot-10 170 pounds, Ryback has many tools that make him a unique prospect. The loudest being his all around defensive capabilities, with a quick transfer and a strong arm has created lows of 1.93 on his pop times. Has also shown the ability to be a quality receiver and a blocker across multiple looks this summer. Offensively, his hit tool was put on display multiple times in front of our staff across the summer circuit and into the fall, swinging a violent bat that helps him to drive the ball to all fields for extra-base hits.

Ryback has made some noteworthy gains in between showcase performances. The wiry strong 5-foot-10, 168-pound athlete improved upon some of his measurables at this event since his most recent appearance at a February PBR showcase. And on top of that, Ryback recorded a sound round of BP that saw him land one barrel that left the bat at 94.7 mph and the ball he struck the farthest traveled an estimated 330 feet. His right-handed swing and improved athleticism behind the plate, where he recorded 1.96-2.19 pops with 78 mph arm strength, make him an arrow-up follow in the state.

Ryback has had a strong showing each of the last two days of our PBR at The Rock Fall Championships and is certainly a follow prospect in the state’s 2024 class. Playing for the PTA Cardinal Underclass squad, Ryback added to his hit totals from yesterday by logging two more hits today, both of them going for extra bases. He’s a projectable 5-foot-10, 140-pound prospect with lean, athletic strength attached to his right-handed barrel.
