3.26.17 - Northwestern commit. 6-foot-2, 162-pound left-handed pitcher with a lanky frame. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery with a slightly closed landing. Good balance throughout delivery. Fastball sat 83-84, touching 85 mph with running action. Curveball has 2-8 shape with sharp, late breaking action at 71-72 mph.
6.21.16 - Northwestern recruit. 6-foot-2, 160-pound left-handed pitcher, lanky build, longer limbs, plenty of room for continued physical development. Long easy arm action, high-3/4 slot, deceptively quick arm, three-pitch feel all with similar arm action. Fastball velocity was down significantly from the winter when we saw him at 85-88 mph. At the ProCase, fastball ranged between 81-83 mph. Curveball showed depth, 1/7 shape, at 68-69 mph. Changeup flashed fade during warmups.

2/28/16 - Northwestern commit. Projectable frame, long limbed, slender build, 6-foot-2, 162-pound left-handed pitcher. Tall and fall delivery, tucks front side at the top of balance position, high leg lift, slightly closed front side. Easy effort, long loose arm action, quick arm, ¾ slot. Fastball has arm side run, sat 85-87 mph, touched 88 mph. Curveball has 1/7 action, dropped for strikes, tight action, 71-73 mph. Changeup has good feel, sinking action, fastball arm speed, 74-77 mph. High ceiling prospect, made a big jump at this outing.
2/1/16 - Verbally committed to Northwestern University.

7/31/15 - Bader caught the eye of several recruiters this weekend with his long limbed, gangly frame that has loads of projection. His long loose arm action and deceptive delivery is a tough at bat for any hitter. His fastball reached 84 mph while sitting 81-83 mph on consecutive days, it shows run to his arm side and is a tough pick up for opposing hitters. His curveball works with good action at 70-73 mph and showed feel for the zone as well as the ability to expand it when needed.
3/15/15- Long lanky frame, 6-foot-1, 155 pounds, thin with room to fill out, good projection. Tall and fall delivery, knees and elbows, has some deception. Arm is fast and loose, high ¾ slot, little effort, arm speed projects well. Fastball sat 80-82 mph, touched 83 mph, downhill angle worked the bottom of the zone, good action. Curveball had sweeping action, slurve-like action. 67-71 mph. showed feel. Changeup flashed occasional cut action, 68-72 mph. Projectable 2017 left handed arm that is a high follow.
7/14/14 - Thin slender build, long limbed, high waisted, 6-foot, 145-pound left-handed pitcher. Tall and fall delivery, minimal effort, works with rhythm, high leg lift, stays closed, crossbody delivery. Arm action is loose and quick, long draw, high ¾ slot. Fastball has run, slight sink, showed above average control, 75-77 mph, touched 78 mph. Curveball worked on 11/5 plane, sweeping action, showed some depth, big bender, 65-66 mph, feel for pitch continued to improve later in outing. Bader projects well and will be an intriguing prospect to follow, high follow in Wisconsin’s 2017 class.

3/16/14 - 6-foot, 142-pound two-way player, longer frame, slender build. Projects better on the mound, delivery has direction, slight drop and drive style. Arm action is loose, high ¾ arm slot, regular effort. Above average arm strength for his age, fastball has erratic action, lively 76-77 mph. Curveball is 61-64 mph, can tighten up, was better from the stretch. Showed a knuckleball at 60-62 mph. Offensively hits from a wider stance, slightly open, short stride, dive. Opposite field contact, 78 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm worked similar to that on the mound, 76 mph, showed above average actions for his age. 4.4 runner down the line.
