Wisconsin-Parkside commit. Mommer took the ball in every big game for St. Thomas More, emerging as one of the top performing pitchers in the greater Milwaukee area. The senior racked up 10 wins on his resume this spring, striking out 95 batters while limiting his opponents to just 14 earned runs in 63.1 innings pitched. In addition to leading his program to another conference championship, Mommer guided the Cavaliers to a Sectionals appearance to cap off his prep career. AFter a couple of injuries to the pitching staff at St. Thomas More, Mommer stepped up in the biggest way possible to keep this program in the Power 25 for a majority of the year. He garnered Prep Baseball Wisconsin Player of the Week honors late in the season—summarizing his importance to this unit throughout 2024.
