EVENT HISTORY
We've been hosting this event for the past 10 years, and it's consistently provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the PBR Future Games. Among the players in attendance at this event in 2022, there are already 57 commitments among them.
Last year at this event, OF Edison Alonso (Reedsburg, 2023; Madison JC commit) who emerged as a name to know after putting together one of the top performances of the day from a statistical standpoint. He started off his day by running a 6.74 in the 60-yard dash, he followed it up with a clean round of BP where generated exits as high as 95.5 mph, and he also threw 86 mph from the outfield. He then was impressive during the summer circuit and committed to Madison JC shortly after. Two other names who built off of impressive showings at this event in 2022 was C Maxwell Kalk (Kimberly, 2023; Ball State commit) and OF Hudson Turner (Baraboo, 2023; Wisconsin-Whitewater commit). Both names were winners last year and followed it up with even more impressive summers, with each committing later on in the year.
We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.
2023 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.
A handful of high-end committed talents are making their way out Windsor on Sunday and RHP Nate Langbehn (DC Everest, 2024; Wichita State commit) is one of them. Last year at this same event, Langbehn put together one of the most impressive ‘pens we saw across the entire winter circuit and because of that he earned an invite to the PBR Future Games. While in Georgia for the Future Games, Langbehn continued to impress on the mound, and he committed to Wichita State shortly following the event.
Nate Langbehn (7/27/22)
OF Logan Dunn (Wautoma, 2024; Missouri State commit), RHP Jack DeTienne (Verona Area, 2024; Xavier commit), and RHP Anderson Hayes (Oconomowoc, 2024; Valparaiso commit) are three other names who have made their commitments that will be in attendance on Sunday. Starting with Dunn, he was also in attendance at this same event last year where he put together one of the top offensive performances of the day. Then in the spring and summer, Dunn continued to flat-out dominate and committed to Missouri State back in July.
Logan Dunn (3/13/22)
Much like the aforementioned Langbehn, DeTienne was a member of Team Wisconsin during the Future Games this past year. At LakePoint, DeTienne took his prospect stock to a new level as he lived in the upper-80s, and touched 90 mph multiple times, pairing his electric fastball with an aggressive curveball, too. As for Hayes, he created some buzz for himself throughout the summer circuit as he started to unpack more and more velocity. Inside his ultra-projectable 6-foot-7, 215-pound frame, it wouldn’t be surprising to see even more velocity come from him on Sunday.
Two other Future Games participants, 1B/LHP Jackson Brewer (Homestead, 2024) and Keagen Jirschele (Mosinee, 2024) are making the trip out to GRB Academy. At the Future Games, Brewer created some loud buzz for himself on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the left-handed hitter tallied multiple barrels throughout the weekend against some of the top talent from across the country. On the mound, the southpaw features clean mechanics that we have seen create highs of 88.3 mph before, and inside his projectable 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame, it wouldn’t be surprising to see his velocity even higher on Sunday.
Jackson Brewer (7/27/22)
Jirschele is a quick twitch athlete who has strength inside his compact 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. Offensively, he features a simple swing that is geared towards sprayed line drive contact and we have seen him collect many of these in-game. Defensively, Jirschele has developed a reputation for his sound defensive actions and sure handedness, and we are excited to get an updated look at him on Sunday.
RHP Craig Kabat (Bay Port, 2024) was one of the biggest risers in our most recent rankings update after showing out across a handful of looks in the summer and into the fall. In his strong 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame, Kabat reached new highs of 88 mph in these looks and this velocity jump made his two offspeed offerings, a downer-type breaking ball and a true changeup, even more impressive than they already were.
Craig Kabat (9/25/22)
OF/RHP Noah Latham-Woodruff (Madison Memorial, 2024) and INF Tate Schmidt (Waunakee, 2024) are two other uncommitted names to know heading into Sunday. Latham-Woodruff is listed at an ultra-projectable 6-foot-4, 205-pounds and he presents one of the highest ceilings in the class. Offensively, Latham-Woodruff uses his long limbs to create max exit velocities of 96.2 mph and we have seen his skills translate over to live gameplay, too. Although we haven’t seen him pitch in some time now, his projectable frame paired with clean, repeatable mechanics give him some two-way potential. As for Schmidt, he has created some buzz for himself over the past year or two after a growth spurt greatly impacted his abilities. Now listed at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds Schmidt is a sure handed infielder and he has added more pop to his left-handed bat which elevates his prospect stock.
Noah Latham-Woodruff (7/12/22)
Rounding out some of the uncommitted names in the 2024 class that will be in Windsor on Sunday are C/1B Brady LaViolette (Notre Dame Academy, 2024) and C Samuel Mommer (St. Thomas More, 2024). LaViolette is listed at a thick framed 5-foot-10, 190-pounds and he swings a heavy right handed bat that has created exit velocities up to 93.9 mph in the past. Mommer is built at a athletic 6-foot-1, 195-pounds and behind the plate he has recorded pop-time lows of 2.06 previously and exit velocities up to 92.2 mph.
As for the sophomore class, we will get the opportunity to see multiple high-level names on Sunday. Starting with the top-ranked player in the class, 3B/RHP Carter Kutz (Hartford Union, 2025) who has consistently showed out in front of our staff. Listed at a physical 6-foot-2, 185-pounds, Kutz uses his strength on both sides of the ball as he has registered exit velocities up to 96.4 mph in the past and he also features a fastball in the mid-to-high 80s, too. After a full offseason of gains, there really is no telling how high these numbers could be on Sunday.
We are also set to get an updated look at RHP/OF Sawyer Deering (Kimberly, 2025), who has been a consistent performer across a multitude of looks. Listed at an athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, Deering features athletic and clean mechanics on the mound, and he has run his fastball up to 87 mph in our looks, while showing extreme confidence in a downer breaking ball. Offensively, we have seen Deering all over the barrel in our looks and on Sunday we are excited to see the gains he has made over the past few months.
At this same event last year, INF Preston Yaucher (Edgewood, 2025) arguably took the best round of infield defense, despite being a part of the youngest class in attendance. Now with a full offseason of training, it wouldn’t be surprising for him to do it yet again. Offensively, Yaucher swings a controlled right-handed bat that produces consistent on-the-barrell contact.
Preston Yaucher (3/13/22)
RHP/INF Jaxon Clayton (Brookfield Central, 2025) is amongst the most projectable in the states 2025 class, listed at a high waisted 6-foot-1, 182-pounds and already he has some loud tools to his game. In previous looks, we have seen Clayton run his fastball up to 86.4 mph, with feel to spin two different breaking balls, out of a fluid and clean delivery. Offensively, he has registered a max exit velocity of 93.7 mph from the right-side and he uses his 6.83 speed to easily move from side-to-side on the infield dirt.
Two other ranked names in the 2025 class, SS/RHP Jack Poellot (Lake Country Lutheran, 2025) and OF Braylen White (Brown Deer, 2025) are also set to attend on Sunday. Poellot is an athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound two-way prospect that has been up to the mid-80s on the mound in our looks, and has registered low-90s exit velocities, too. As for White, he is amongst the most athletic in the entire state, regardless of class. White is a 6.55 runner in the 60, and that was last year when he was just a freshman, so it wouldn't be surprising to see this number even lower on Sunday.
There will also be three ranked 2026 prospects in Windsor on Sunday, starting with SS/RHP Calvin Moreau (Monona Grove, 2026) who will also be making his PBR showcase debut. Moreau burst onto the scene this summer at the PBR at The Rock Summer Championships and impressed with his clean mechanics and innate feel to pitch. With this being his first-ever PBR showcase, we are certainly excited to get a look at this young prospect.
Calvin Moreau (6/10/22)
INF Winston Alonso (Reedsburg, 2026) and 3B/RHP Sam Abrahamson (Hudson, 2026) are two other young prospects to know heading into Sunday. Alonso impressed this summer at The Rock with his natural left-handed swing and was all over the barrel during the entire weekend. Abrahamson came onto the scene at the Western Wisconsin Open last summer and there he put together a two-way performance in which he produced exit velocities in the high-80s. On the mound, there is a lot to like regarding his delivery, athleticism and arm speed, and now in his freshman year, we could start to see more velocity coming around.
The names listed above are just scratching the surface of the amount of talent Perusing the event roster, he names listed above are just scratching the surface of the amount of talent that will be there on Sunday. We’re also set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a PBR showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
