MONTEREY PARK, CA – St. Paul took on Salesian in the first Camino Real League matchup of the year on a cold night at East Los Angeles College on 2/27/19. Long Beach State signee RHP Luis Ramirez toed the rubber for the Mustangs and seriously put his stamp on the game in a big way.  Julian Tellez took the mound for the Swordsmen and kept them in the game with a chance to win. Tellez worked five solid innings, scattering six hits, striking out six with two free passes. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Ramirez stepped up to the plate and hit an RBI double that turned out to be the difference maker in the ball game. Stangs win 1-0
