Our weekly Diamond Notes highlights players that were nominated by their coaches for SoCal Player of the Week award. 

The following players had impressive performances during the week of April 9-15, and though not selected as the Player of the Week, they earned special recognition. Players are listed in no particular order.

Chase Pedersen (Arcadia HS): The senior OF/LHP was 2-for-6 on the week driving in 3 runs, including the game winning RBI against San Dimas on Saturday in the Babe Herman Championship game. Pedersen also got the win pitching 4 1/3 and not allowing any earned runs.

Dominick Tello (Arcadia HS): The junior was 4-for-4 in 2 games vs. Hoover, with 3 doubles and an HR. Tello drove in 6 runs in the 2 games and scored 4 times.

Sebastian Murillo (Fountain Valley HS): The sophomore Arizona commit was 5 for 7, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 6 Runs scored, 3 BB

Kyle Luckham (El Dorado HS): The senior Cal State Fullerton commit and potential MLB Draft prospect was 5-for-12 at the plate w a double and 2 RBI, he also threw CG win v Foothill w 6 Ks and 1 ER.

D'Artagnan Van Dusen (Lincoln HS): In three games the senior was 8-for-11 with 12 runs scored, 15 RBI, 6 HR, and 8 stolen bases. He's now hitting .500 with 9 HR, 41 runs scored, 7 doubles, 6 triples, and 23 stolen bases on the season.

Lukas White (Valencia HS): In three games, the senior 1B/P was 9-for-12 with 8 RBI, 2 HR, 4 doubles, and 4 runs scored. He also pitched 6 innings striking out 10, allowing 2 hits, and walking one in a win over Grace Brethren.

Luis Parra (Bell Gardens HS): The junior P/OF threw a complete game which included 7 strikeouts and one walk. He allowed 6 hits and 1 earned run. On the season he has a 1.56 ERA in 56 innings of work.

Nico Della Ripa (Agoura HS): The junior 3B/OF essentially won two games for his team via home run hitting the go ahead HR in both team wins against Thousand Oaks. On the week he was 4-for-5 with 2 HR, 4 runs scored, 4 RBI, a walk and a stolen base.

Cole Winn (Orange Lutheran HS) The senior Mississippi State commit and potential first round draft pick was electric in his start against Servite going 6 innings, striking out 11, walking two and allowing one hit.

Grady Touhy (Villa Park HS): Against Yorba Linda last week, the senior was 6-for-8, with a double, a Grand Slam, 5 RBIs, 3 runs scored and a stolen base.

James Williams (Ocean View HS): The senior was 7-for-10 on the week with 3 doubles, 4 RBI, and 4 runs scored.

Gavin Kennedy (Ocean View HS): The junior was 6-for-10 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. He also got a win on the mound allowing 0 runs and striking out 12 over 8 innings of work.

Chase Hanson (Edison): The senior UNLV commit was 4-for-7 with a double, a triple, an HR, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. He was a single away from the cycle in one game.

Aidan Booth (Laguna Beach HS): On the week hit .857 with 6 hits, an HR, 5 runs scored, and 4 RBI.

Eric Silva (Laguna Beach HS) For the week he hit .667 with 4 hits, 5 runs scored, 6 RBI, 2 walks, and pitched 1 inning striking out 2.

Victor Vodnik (Rialto HS): The MLB Draft prospect threw a complete game striking out 14, allowing 3 hits and walking none with just 1 earned run.

Dawson Netz (Maranatha HS): The junior Arizona commit threw his second no-hitter of the season striking out 12 of the 15 batters faced while only walking one.

Max Blessinger (Maranatha HS): The junior Dallas Baptist commit was 11-for-17 with 9 runs scored and 8 stolen bases.

Marco Martinez (Maranatha HS): The senior Southern California signee was 12-for-18 with 10 runs scored, 8 RBI, 2 doubles, 2 triples, and a home run.

Adam Castillo (La Habra HS): The senior Point University Commit, 2 G, 10 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 Win (CG Shutout/76 Pitches) & 1 Save.
