WILDOMAR, CALIF. - The SoCal Underclass Preseason All-State took place last weekend at Elsinore HS. The fourth annual event drew many of the top players in the 2025 and 2026 classes with over 20 players ranked in the Top 50 of their respective classes.  

Players were put through the traditional pro-style workout that included the 60-yard dash, BP, and a defensive workout. Players were then split into two teams and played a simulated “scout ball” formatted game in which pitchers faced no more than five hitters in their one inning of work. 

With so many talented players on hand it was a great day of baseball. In the coming days we’ll begin to roll out statistical leaders, categorical leaders, scouting reports, and much more. Until then we’ll take a look at the showcase categorical stats leaders.
