THE FIVE: Uncommitted 2021 Outfielders from SoCal

It's not every day you scouts see an outfielder play and say "we've got to have him on our roster" because sometimes they can get lost in the mix when it comes to recruiting. Often times you'll see a converted infielder moved to the outfield because his tools - particularly the arm strength - project for greater success there. There are the exceptions, of course. Over the years we've seen many high school outfielders move on to the next level, be it college or pro ball, because their tools dictate they stay there.
With the way recruiting is trending with players committing to schools earlier and earlier, outfielders, particularly those whose present skill set don't jump off the charts, remain uncommitted longer than other positions. However, as we've come to realize, there are always players that remain uncommitted heading into their junior and senior seasons that eventually make noise playing baseball on the next level. With that in mind, we thought it would be good to take a look at some junior outfielders who may fall into that category some day.
In this issue of THE FIVE, we'll look at five outfielders (listed in no particular order) who will, and in some cases, are already in the process of hearing from interested colleges.
