TOP-5 PITCHING PROSPECTS

1. Grady Klovstad, Mater Dei (CA), 2029
Positional Profile: SS/RHP Projectable two way player with a lot of room to build on strong power and command.
Body: 6-2.2, 172-pounds. Lanky build with a lot of space to fill out and projectability.
Delivery: Compact, easy delivery with excellent posture and deliberate movements. Easily repeatable to throw a lot of strikes.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, relaxed 3/4 arm action with medium arm circle and solid whip. Needs to repeat the arm action better to be more consistent.
FB: T88, 84-87 mph. Features solid carry that adds deception to the pitch's shape and plays well up in the zone, where he gets strong swing and miss. Has minimal run that gets some ground balls but mostly relies on the carry to get swings. T2290, 2129 average rpm.
SL: 72-75 mph. Solid tight spin that creates big horizontal movement with some late break. Gets a lot of swing and miss against right handed batters. T2481, 2214 average rpm.
CH: 75-78 mph. Some solid fading action that displays moderate tumble and works well against left handed hitters. T1399, 1198 average rpm.
