Jace Wooley has had an impressive 2026, making a name for himself as one of the top infielders in the state. Last spring, Wooley hit .375 with 24 hits and was named First Team All-League.

He continued to show his skills this summer at the NorCal ProCase in May and at the Senior Future Games in July. On day one of the Senior Future Games, Wooley posted the fourth-highest average exit velocity (91.4 mph), the second-furthest batted-ball distance (363 ft), and the second-highest sweet-spot rate (66%). Playing for a talented Team West Coast, he had one of the most impressive workouts; but what he did in their three games was even more eye-opening.

Wooley was one of Team West Coast’s most productive players, going 4-for-7 with four RBIs, three stolen bases, and a walk across three games. A performance like this against some of the nation's top uncommitted arms highlights Wooley’s ability to rise to the spotlight and compete with the best.

Last spring, Wooley hit .375 with 24 hits and a .916 OPS for Cardinal Newman, earning First Team All-League honors.

Wooley’s metrics reflect an all-around profile, with high exit-velocity numbers showcasing his power at the plate and an elite 90 mph arm to rely on in the infield.

Wooley has run a 7.11 60, with 1.65 10-yard and 3.92 30-yard splits, showing enough athleticism and range to play the left side on the infield.

His defense is highlighted by an elite 90 mph max INF velo. Combined with his defensive instincts and solid footwork on the dirt, Wooley has shown the ability to hit and play the field at a very high level.

Wooley also attended the 2025 Future Games and has made solid strides in just a year. Since then, his max EV has climbed 4 mph from 97.6, his average EV has climbed 3.7 mph from 90.7, and INF velo is up 3 mph from 87. Overall, these increases show that Wooley is trending in the right direction as he looks to continue refining his game heading into his senior year.
