After a strong 2026 spring and summer, Landon Scott has established himself as a top uncommitted player in the class of 2027. Last spring, Scott hit .347 with 25 hits, earning a First Team All-League nod.

Scott continued to turn heads this summer at the Orange County Summer ID in June and at the Senior Future Games in July. On day one of the Senior Future Games, Scott’s workout stood out among a very talented Team West Coast. He ran the team’s second-fastest 60 (6.69), had the fifth-highest max exit velocity (97.1 mph), and the fifth-highest average exit velocity (90.9 mph).

Following his stellar workout on day one, Scott walked and hit this loud RBI double in Team West Coast’s first game that ended in an 8-5 win over Team New England.

Scott’s impressive showings throughout the summer followed a standout junior year at Temecula Valley HS. He hit .347 with 25 hits, 18 RBIs, and 20 walks, and was named First Team All-League while playing shortstop, second base, and third base. Scott was instrumental in the team’s success, as they went 24-6 and undefeated in the Southwestern League.

At 6'2 185 lbs, Scott brings a well-projectable frame and an intriguing combination of power and speed.

While his 60 time would be impressive for any player, it’s even more striking given his frame. Scott boasts a 6.69 60, with 1.61 10-yard and 3.71 30-yard splits, showing quickness and athleticism to play anywhere on the field.

Scott also brings an 86 mph max INF velo, showcasing arm strength to rely on in the infield. His versatility and complete game, supported by his elite athleticism and frame, make for an intriguing profile.

Scott has made significant growth in 2026 and looks to keep trending upward. He attended our Orange County Fall ID in October of 2025, where he put on a good showing, appearing on the leaderboards for many of the day’s metrics. Since then, Scott has grown 2 inches and gained around 10 lbs of muscle, as reflected by all-around improvement in his metrics.

In less than a year, his max EV is up 3.3 mph from 94.3, his average EV is up 4.1 mph from 86.8, his max bat speed is up 6.6 mph from 71.6, and his 60 time is down 0.39 seconds from 7.08. This growth and the potential to add even more strength suggest more production is on the horizon for Scott.
