HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Riley Cornelio, RHP, Pine Creek HS, CO (Texas Christian)

OTHERS TO WATCH: LHP Graham Osman (Colorado Academy, CO) burst onto the scene this spring, jumping nearly 10 mph with his fastball. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Arizona State recruit has a loose arm and easy delivery, which gives him exceptional control. His fastball can sit 88-89 mph from a 3/4 slot and he mixes in a wipeout slider at 78-80, as well as a knuckle curveball at 76-77. SS Justin Boyd (Legend HS, CO) has solid tools across the board, though his pure speed is plus. The swing gets on plane early and the ball can jump off his bat. He runs a 6.54-second 60-yard dash and his feet are fluid in the field. He has polished actions and solid arm strength. He is committed to Oregon State. A Minnesota recruit, RHP/1B Sam Ireland (Mountain Vista HS, CO) is the state’s top two-way player. He has a strong build at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. The arm is clean and easy from a 3/4 slot and he can run his fastball up to 93. The changeup is 78-79 and he has a slurve with 10/4 shape. He’s an advanced hitter at the plate with gap-to-gap power. SS Derek Shaver (Grand Junction HS, CO) is physically advanced with a 6-foot-4, 205-pound frame and a strong bat. He is committed to Wichita State. OF Bryce Matthews(Chaparral HS, CO), an Arkansas recruit, has a big, projectable frame and athleticism. OF Tayler Aguilar (Northridge HS, CO) runs a 6.8 and has solid arm strength. RHP Eric McKnight (Heritage HS, CO) stands at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and can run his fastball into the low 90s.
