Updated 2022 Colorado Rankings

Mike Anderson
PBR Colorado Scouting Director

PBR Colorado's updated 2022 rankings has a pair of new additions in the Top 10.  The updated rankings are out and we continue to highlight and promote Colorado players with this expansive list of 225+ players.

Tyler Mejia, LHP, Mountain Vista (Uncommitted) enters the Top 10 at No. 7.  Mejia has returned after a challenging injury to lead Mountain Vista on the mound and at the plate. The senior LHP has a FB 85-88, with arm side and a CB 72-75 with 12/6 action. His athleticism shows as a hitter and gives him great projectability.

Luke Meyers, RHP/OF, Heritage (Central Arizona JC) demonstrates his own  athleticism.  He enters the Top 10 at No. 8. Dylan Carey, SS, Ponderosa (Nebraska) holds down the top spot but followed closely by No. 2 Christian Foutch, RHP Chatfield (Arkansas) and No. 3 Dallas Macias, SS, Regis Jesuit (Oregon State). Carey and Macias have been highly ranked since their freshmen seasons and have continued to shine, develop and produce throughout their high school careers.

Foutch has had a quick rise with developing velocity to the mid 90s.  No. 4 Reese Chapman, OF, Grandview (Tennessee) has strong tools with speed and pop and has a competitive edge. Keenan Proctor, OF, Valor Christian (UCLA) remains at No. 5 despite being out for the season with injury.
Top Risers in the 2022 rankings highlight Landen Sehr, LHP, Legacy (UCCS).  The 5-foot-8 lefty has lead Legacy to great 13-0 start. Gonzaga commit, Samuel Stem, OF, Erie moves to 26, and Liam Hohenstein, RHP/OF Rock Canyon (Colorado Mesa)  moves to the No. 29.
